I have a question.. are we only ALLOWED to use 1 team that we used in battle?? say you advance with a rain team.. are you only allowed to use that?? or can u change and so on??

You can use any team you want, if you feel like changing do it. It doesn't matter. For, Meh, I will be using random Pokemon in each round.
