The day I lost my DS.

Post by Raine on Wed Apr 09, 2008 9:26 pm

    Well, almost, anyway.

I swear, I lose EVERYTHING at some point.. and it's always important.

My DS Lite popped out of my pocket while I got off the bus, and since I had Haste The Day blasting in my ear, I missed the loud plunking noise I'm sure it made as it's rather fragile pinkness hit the hard pavement. Naturally, I continued down the street and such, until I reached home. As I entered through my door I decided to have a "Make sure DS is still in pocket" moment and hahaha it wasn't there. So I continued with freaking out, tracing my steps and eventually concluded that I had left it at some bus stop where I had sat to wait for the bus. I Continued going crazy for a bit, till the the idea that maybe, juuuust maybe I was lucky and it had simply fallen out in front of my house or something, and to my disspointment when I had gone to look, it wasn't there. Somehow I ended up walking up the street when I had most recently stepped of one of the buses, and I couldn't believe my eyes. There it was, just.. lying there. On the ground. I swear to you I started singing my happy song right there despite all the odd looks from random bystanders.

I think I learned a lesson today, though: no more valuables in my hoodies pockets.

It would've sucked, surely.. my Diamond was in there too so, no more battling. Sad

Wow raine, you are soooo lucky!! Some people like me, if I lose something, I never find it back especially if I lose it on the streets. >_> I wonder what would happen if you did lose it? That would SUCK SO SO MUCH! Anyways... I'm happy that you found it. Keep that safe and secure next time! Smile
