How can I form a good team.

Hello all, I\'m new, names ben people call me.. well ben... i guess
Newer to pokemon,well Ev training and Iv atleast, been playing sence i was about 4, don\'t ask.. anyway i need to form a good team.. could use some help.. workin on the ev training and iv and how it works really.. that'd be really cool

Well first of all, do you ev train, know about natures, and iv breed pokemon? if you do then i can further asist you, if you dont, then i need to show you the basics. Let me know where you stand, as far as your pokemon knowledge is concerned.

Well as i said before i just learned about Ev and Iv but.. idk like how all of it works together into the pokemon and how to tell what u need and.. how to use it..

Well thats hard to diagnose, if you mean you dont know what natures and what ev spreads should be used depending on the pokemon then this site can help you.

What exactly do you need help with, ev training?, what natures affect what?, name the most confusing topic in pokemon for you.

..lemme try and put it this way.. i understand what Ev means.. thats it..

do you know how to distribute the evs, or what type of pokemon to beat to obtain certain evs?

Individual Values
IV's are very important if you're usin an attack called "Hidden Power".Also, teams need to (obviously) be structured well. A few basic elements of a team would br walls,pokemon who take minimal/less damage from physical and/or special attacks, and sweepers, pokemon who can dish out lots of damage. There are other "categories" of pokemon you can/could add, such as a Baton Passer, but i can't be bothered to go into that now. but basically, a "good" team knows how to deal damage and survive at the same time.
